Hand Of The Big Guy!

Hey everyone! I hope you have had an amazing week! I am constantly thinking and praying for you! This week I just wanted to share an experience I have been having with my friends and my Savior!

(My Friend and My Savior)
This week me and Elder Montgomery got a call from one of our ward members. My sweet friend had just attempted to end her life! We got there 5 mins after it happened to comfort the family. As we were waiting to hear how she was doing my comp stayed upstairs to be with the fam and I went down to clean the bathroom where she attempted to end her life. I'll spare the details but from what I saw and cleaned I honestly didn't know if she would make it..... after 3 hours of being there, we had to head home.
After a long night we got word that she was doing alright! President LeBaron let me and Elder Williams get back together for a day so we could go visit her. It was sad she really wanted there.
After a couple days we got a call from an unknown number. It was our friend! She was admitted it was awesome to hear her voice! She sounded like she was back!
A couple days later we went over and she was home! It was so good to see her but she is still struggling.
I don't know why but after the first day series of panic attacks have been happening! Everything that reminds me of my friend makes my body get very overwhelmed.
I recently spent several hours through the night praying for my friend and for support in the limiting feelings I was having! After hours of praying I started to see the hand of the Lord in this unfortunate thing that was happening to my friend.
I relzed that even though this was a crazy situation and it sucks that it all happens the Lord has been very involved in every detail with miracle after miracle, here are a couple of them!
#1: It's amazing she is okay! After seeing all that had happened and how much blood and other things where involved its amazing she is still alive! Bitter sweet but the only things she is dealing with is mental wounds! Her physical body healed so fast! It is also truly a blessing that she made it to the hospital as fast as she did!
#2: They recently joined the chruch! This probably would have happened to her, member or not! But because she was a member or the chruch us and 3 other members were there to comfort and uplift and fill in within a matter of 5-10min. Also she is in need of intense therapy! But that's so hard to come by in spokane! But because they are members they got connected with 2 of Spokanes top councilors who also happen to be in our ward!
#3 Pain. This one is aimed twords both of us! It honestly sucks to be in and see someone in so much pain! But it was awesome to see that as 300 + people got together to pray for her and everyone involved that the Lord wrapped His arms around it all and shared His love. The state she was in when we went to see her compared to when she was out is amazing! She obviously is still dealing with trauma bit I wish you where her to both love and support but also see how amazing the blessings of this situation are!
I guess I want you to know that bad things happen to good people! Especially to really good people! But our Savior Jesus Christ didn't die for nothing! He died to feel our pain, our trauma, our emotions, and grief and our anxiety! I know He lives and I know is is very involved in the details of our life! He is my best friend and I know that if you ever need anyhting He will be there to support you!

Love yall!
