New Assignment

Dear Elder Sandberg,


We congratulate you on your new assignment as Trainer in the Washington Spokane Mission. You are worthy and most capable of serving the Lord and your new companion. Your steady progress in the work and your leadership abilities have prepared you for this assignment. It comes to you by inspiration from the Lord. You now have a unique opportunity to serve the one. As you diligently serve your companion, you will be serving the Lord and will grow even closer to Him. Mosiah 2:17!


As you work together with your companion to live the Missionary Purpose you will see miracles. Be aware of those miracles and as a companionship focus on even the smallest of them all.  As you fulfill your missionary assignment with positivity, enthusiasm, and exact obedience, you will become a powerful leader through your faithful example. Many wonderful experiences await your service.


The Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ: Supplemental Information summarizes the duties of a Trainer as follows:


Works with and trains a new missionary with love, patience, charity and empathy.
Respects the contributions and insights of the new missionary as an equal companion.
Spends additional training time each day in companion study.
Studies the standards in the missionary handbook with his companion daily.
Trains the new missionary on topics found in the Safeguards for Using Technology and Adjusting to Missionary Life resources.
Demonstrates how to effectively coordinate missionary efforts with local leaders and members.
Through your continued love for your friends you're finding, teaching, and baptizing your inspired training, counsel, and motivation, your companion in your care will continue to grow in effectiveness as a servant of the Lord. 


We are praying for your joy and success!  You are an incredible disciple of the Lord.  We love you more than words can express!!!!

Nothing Smells Better Than Cogerets In The Chapel.

Run down. (Exchange)  - Went on a sweet exchange with Elder Parker! He is serving in the YSA so we got to hang around people our age all day! That was awesome! We even got to walk around on the LC campus. It made me feel like I was back at college! That was really fun! We talked to like 500 people and taught a bunch of lessons. It was awesome!  (Bob)  - We where walking and Elder Cleverly was looking at a house so I told him he better not ignore the spirit and knock the door. He knocked the door and a man named Bob opened. The first words out of my mouth was "you gonna let us in so we can share truth with you?" LOL then he let us in. We taught Bob about how family's can be together forever. That led to us inviting Bob to be baptized and he is 100% down to be baptized!  (Dane) - We where walking and saw our friend Dane. He was struggling so we taught. We asked him if he could feel the Holy ghost as we taught. He said he could. We then invited him to have that feeling ...
