THE UPDATE.
Hey y'all sorry it's been awhile. This past month has been seriously crazy busy.
CINDY!
We got the chance to baptize Cindy. (Let's goooo) it was supper awesome. She has had a lot of crazy things going on in her life lately so she us always just all over the place. But that Saturday was so awesome. You could tell she was so relaxed and felt the spirit so strong! At her baptism we sang the song A Childs Prayer from the children's song book and she just started tearing up the spirit was so strong. I also got to dip her so that was flippin awesome!
ZONE CONFERENCE!
I had my first zone conference and that was awesome. At first I got real intimidated cus I was asked to speak infront of the whole mission. But then I realized I was all dripped out with my new buz cut lookin like a brown tennis ball. So everyone was probably checking me out instead of noticing any mistakes I made. After I talked it was just so awesome to hear from mish Pres and his wife. I also got to meet a tone of people so that was just so awesome.
SPLITS
I got to go on splits with Elder Sims and Elder Thurston. That was seriously just so so fun! I got to make a tone of dope contacts on the street. We met this one lady in the Gas station. She asked us why we knock on doors because it's just a wast of time sharing a fake message from a fake church. I absolutely flamed up and made her rethink her life and now the elders are making contacts with her so that was sick.
!!EVA!!
Okay! This girl we have been teaching named Eva is so awesome. Like seriously she has been fighting so hard to get her life in a good place. Probably one of the coolest girls I have ever met. I'm for sure going to try and set my Lil brother Dave up with her when I am back because she is just so awesome! Anyways Eva was supposed to get baptized a couple months ago but because she isn't 18 yet her mom told the bishop she won't let Eva get baptized. So we went on over there recently and talked with her mom. Turns out her mom has seen a great change in Eva and thanked it all to the gospel. So she gave us permission to baptize Eva!!! So.... Saturday November 13 Eva was baptized into the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!!!!!! LETS GOOOOO.
Ok so the baptism was seriously so flippin awesome! Honestly Eva was brought up being a little thug. She invited a tone of her friends and they all flippin showed up to support her. We had like 30 none members there to support her. It was so awesome we got a couple new people to teach from that. Also her mom told Eva she couldn't go because she had to go work the Seattle Seahawks game. But the bus driver got COVID so she walked in and surprised Eva. That was just so flippin cool.
BYE DAD
One of my Dad's Elder Castelli is leaving back for home. He finished his mission and is going back to New Mexico. So me and Elder Grundvig are going to get a new comp. Elder Castelli has been such an awsomw trainer and I'm honestly going to miss that dude so much. He is THAT missionary.
LAST REMARKS
I love you all and I'm so greatful I have the chance to be out here on the mission. It's truly changing my life. I can't wait to flex the new improved Josh.
